Job Description and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail–oriented Procurement Engineer to join our
Operations Department. The ideal candidate for this position is a female professional with a
strong educational background in civil engineering. As a Procurement Engineer, you will be
responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost–effective
purchasing of materials and services, and maintaining relationships with suppliers. The role
involves a mix of office–based work (75%) and site visits (25%).

responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost–effective
purchasing of materials and services, and maintaining relationships with suppliers. The role

Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Management:
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely procurement
of materials and services.
• Coordinate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and
specifications.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and product availability to ensure the best deals
for the organization.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
2. Supplier Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely
delivery, and cost–effective procurement.
• Address supplier concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain smooth business
operations.
3. Godown Management:
• Oversee the management of the godown, ensuring proper storage and organization
of materials.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and update stock records.
• Coordinate with site teams to fulfil material requirements from the godown.
4. Quality Control:
• Collaborate with quality control departments to ensure the received materials meet
the required standards and specifications.
4. Site Visits:
• Conduct regular site visits (25% of work time) to assess project needs and validate
procurement requirements.
5. Documentation:
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive procurement documentation, including
purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all
procurement activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (BE Civil).
• Freshers are encouraged to apply; candidates with up to 1 year of experience in a
similar role will be preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with
suppliers.
• Excellent analytical and problem–solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
